About the Markets!

Carter Farmer's Market My interest in gardening came about several years ago, for some reason I felt the urge to can tomatoes and make salsa. We Moved to Iowa after living 12 years outside Dallas, Texas, and have not been satisfied with the commercial salsa available locally. So I take great pride in making my own! I now "put up" many jars of Green Beans, jellies and a huge amount of Pickles. Our kids have a great appetite for dill pickles! Everything is grown without chemicals, it is a lot of work but I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Lonesome Dove Farmers and Flea Market
Lonesome Dove Farmer's and Flea Market is located on South Park Avenue in Seymour, Iowa. This is a joint venture for Lisa and her dad Gary. Vendor spaces are available both inside and outside, with several permanent vendors already in place. We have a huge variety of products available such as, antiques, collectibles, primatives, Amish-Hand crafted Furniture, locally made, hand woven rugs, vintage household fixtures, new and used building materials, hardware, books, new craft items, craft supplies, glassware, both new and old, appliances, gift items, pretty much anything you could want, we have or can get!!
We will be adding monthly small animal auctions as well as consignment merchandise actions this year.
This site will be updated regularly with auction dates and consignment lists as they become available.
The Market will open May 4, 2002 and be open every Saturday thru October 2002. The market is also open by appointment.
